Currently the timer is in a very primitive state, it only trackes elapsed time, highscore (shortest achieved time) and stops upon level completion. There is no reset function and no scoreboard.
The expanded playable area mostly serves as padding with minimal risk, felt that ending the level with an active speed boost powerup was a bit off.
Invested hours: Total: 2 whole hours! For some reason the implemented UI in the gamekit isn't very functional and every time I would attempt to implement a level restart button the whole engine would crash or wouldn't even let me click on the button. Had to use a workaround (in the form of new UI/canvas element that is loaded upon level completion)
